Day 31

Another of my little man. I'm sorry that all I've been posting is of my kids, but hey, they are all I've got right now! So deal people. Here's the info:

I used curves to boost the color and I sharpened his eyes, that's about it. Oh and I used Derelicte from TRA at about 15% or so.

Day 30

I just love this boy's face here. He is such a ham.

This was my first experience shooting in raw. I've heard rave reviews about shooting in RAW and I just haven't managed to switch the settings on my camera. I like the versatility with shooting in RAW though. I'm not a fan of the noise in the picture, but I had to up the ISO a bit earlier in the day to get a good exposure and forgot to change it when I took this. Ooops. I won't be using that high of an ISO again unless I have to. Here are the details:

To edit, I just sharpened the eyes a bit and boosted the color in curves. That's it.

Day 29

Since my kids are on a picture strike, running away from me whenever I get the camera out I had no choice but to mess around with self-ports again. This first one I'm not sure about. I messed around quite a bit in PS trying to make it somewhat funky, but not sure with the outcome. Oh well.
This one I just added some diffused glow to it and converted it to b&w. I like how my eye is the focus here.
It's very hard to get creative since I can't get much perspective taking a picture of myself. Maybe I'll pop on a different lens next time. Anyway, here's my day 28!

My last 3 days have sucked in regards to my abilities. I haven't gotten a decent shot, let alone taken my camera out much. So, this is what it is, oh well! We can't all be perfect all the time, right?

The girls got their faces painted at Disney World. Annika got Cinderall and Bianca got Minney Mouse. Too cute!

If you click on this picture of Bianca, you can see the reflection of palm trees in her eyes. I didn't photoshop her eyes at all in this picture. The only editing I did was to get rid of some food on her chin! Her eyes were so amazing when I uploaded this picture!

Bianca woke up bright and early today and passed out in the car after picking Annika up from school. I brought her in and laid her on the chair fully thinking she'd wake up, but she didn't. She didn't wake up until I tried to move her to her room. Of course.

Day 13

This little girl is crafty. She always stands next to the tv when it's on. I always have to remind her not to and to go sit in her chair. Well, the little stinker moved her chair to right in front of the tv. What's my argument now? She's sitting in her chair!

Day 12

I started packing today! Only 3 days and Annika will be wearing her flip flops, or bip bops says Bianca.

Day 11

Laundry sucks. I'm lucky my husband does it the majority of the time. I swear the piles grow bigger each week though.

Less than a week and Bianca will be wearing this on the beaches of Florida! Yay!
